Collier County EMS Written Exam

Hey all, Im taking the written exam for Collier County in Florida on March 10th and im wondering if anyone on here has any info on the written exam. I know that the exam is 50 questions and thats its going to be a emt test. What im asking is what style of questions are they? I tested with Lee county not to long ago and that exam was a nightmare! if anyone can provide some info about this written and the level of difficulty I would appreciate it.

I also will be testing on the 10th. The only way I'm preparing is a few emt books I found in Barnes & noble, I would definitely recommend going up there and find some good study material. I also tested with lee county a few months ago too, got a 75 so I didn't advance to the next stage. It was definitely a difficult test. Wish you luck though with Collier.

Hey bro thanks for the response.. Yeah that lee test sucked. I made it all the way through but still no phone call. Oh well! Ive been studying anything I can get my hands on fro those barnes noble books to pretests online. Have you heard anything as far as the test goes? Glad to hear you will be testing.

No I haven't heard anything on the test either, besides what's on the website. I work at AMR/Medics Ambulance in Broward and told a few buddies of mine about the position but I don't think anyone caught it. Hopefully it's not as much competition like for Lee County it was like 290 something people testing. I'm just going to study like I was studying for the Lee county test I can't imagine that the test are to different since the departments are similar.

At least you didn't place 4th overall out of 260 at the Lee testing and got passed up. Don't ever burn bridges. I regret leaving that place every minute of everyday.
