Shouldn't this be retitled to transgender woman or something? Kind of messed up to call her a man just after she was shot dead, and while people may not agree that she is a woman, I would at least say transgender woman or something instead.

Yeah, it is messed up. Journos do this often with trans folk. Often come to their oops, my bad a few hours or days later after the initial report so maybe there's a chance of correcting at least some of them.

Shrug. I get basic human dignity may be low on the reporting right priority list, that with the pandemy to get straight first and all, but yeah.
