Anyone know where I can find a list of CE providers that have been given the "OK" by Contra Costa County in NorCal? I have a BoundTree account, but I'm not sure if they are "recognized" by CoCoCounty. Any ideas? Thanks!

(I was going to re-take the EMT-Basic class I took initially in order to keep up my knowledge, but I found out it does not count as CE.)

I don't think it matters which county you are taking the CEs for. It's a state and NREMT thing. If you don't want to keep your NREMT then most places only require you take a 24 hour EMT refresher, or 24-hours of random CEs. I was looking at SFPA EMT Refresher, but I am sure there are many other places you can take EMT refresher.

Good Gravy Granny!! :o  $420 for the class!! *DFO's* Sure is expensive to get into this field! And, from what I've heard, its not exactly gonna make you rich either. Good thing my certs don't expire till next year. I'll (hopefully) have built up some reserve money by then with which to take my CE class(es).

I think a lot of people just take 24-hours of free CEs of whatever, and a lot of companies offer somebody that can do skill verification so they can recertify. I am lazy and just pay the money, attend the refresher class for two weeks (I did my refresher at Chabot College in Hayward, CA), and I am good to go.

Hello. The CAEMSA website has all the information you will need to find the appropriate CE providers for COCO County! Good Luck!
