I've heard and have been told about 20 different joule settings, does anyone have an updated list of joules for sync cardioverting? For all rhythms that is

It's monitor specific.

Philips MRx is 100J-150J-200J

How about Lifepak 12? V-tach, Flutter etc...

We just cardioverted SVT Tuesday and I want to say it was 50 joules. I got off work early or I could give you the settings for everything

Never even seen a LP12...and yes I'm serious. Only stuff here is Zoll or Philips.

V-Tach for the MRx is 200J straight away.

I wouldn't be too keen on hitting A-flutter with it unless you have a real rapid ventricular rate that was compromising perfusion. Honestly I've never been presented with that question. If I were to deal with it I'd go with the 100-150-200.

Zoll is 70-75, depending on the model, then 120-150-200.

I bet google could point you in the right direction pretty quickly. Or your protocol manual. ;)

LP12 cardioversion is 100-200-300-360 for SVT and VT with a pulse.

(previously you'd start at 50 for SVT)

hope that helps.

EDIT: didn't see the entire question; it's the same for a-fib/flutter (symptomatic, new onset of course)
