The AEMT test in TX is the NREMT exam at the AEMT level. If you can't apply to take the test through the NREMT then the answer is no.
With the expanded ILS/ALS scope that an EMT-I has in Texas, there are no shortcuts for that level. What level are you now? Do you have any additional training that makes you think that you can challenge the exam?
