California EMS license plates

I just ordered the new California EMS plates. Did anybody else order one? I think they'll have to get 7500 pre-orders before we will get the plates.

The plate looks really good. Order one so we can get them soon.

I am all for it. I advertised at my work and with all of my EMS friends.

Negative, I do not want to advertise that I'm an EMS professional, especially if I'm passing up minor accidents on the side of the road or if I ever make a "mistake" driving around town. I don't see doctors or nurses doing such displays. Maybe discrete little stickers in the corner if their windows at MOST, for the most part.

I feel sorry for the intern who put all this work to make this project happen...but putting resources into this isn't what the state needs for EMS right now. :/

Sorry, an EMS plate might detract from my lightbar on my toyota crapola... This is a failed idea... and rightly so... honestly, look at the numbers... this plate has been advertised all of last year and has yet to get a couple hundread sold... count me out...
