Box truck vs moving truck

I'm moving, and I'm terrible with spacial issues. I can't find out how large a typical box ambulance is -- is it the same as a 10 foot moving truck? I'm trying to visualize and I'm fairly sure I could fit a desk, a couch, and a queen-sized bed in the back of a box truck..

That's roughly about right. I'd say a ambulance from doors to front of back sets is about 12 feet so subtracting the pass through area and dead space puts it at about 10. Remember it's a lot easier to move with a big truck then a little one though. It takes a lot less planning if your truck is a little bigger than you need.

Just remember to take out the gurney before you load the rig up with your furniture and let dispatch know you're repairing a flat and the wrench broke.

There is an airline here in the NWT in the next town over from mine called Hay River. The airline is named Buffalo Airways and for their freight division they use what looks like a former ambulance possible a Crestline.
