I have an interview with Bowers in about a week and i was wondering what the process was like? Also how many stations do they deploy out of? Thank you in advance.

EMT test / physical exam (cake) / interview.

Easy stuff. Don't sweat it if you know your stuff. One station in long beach, van nuys, and I believe Vernon area. Don't quote me on the stations but there's only a couple, and you will almost for sure be working 12s out of long beach (hq)

Bowers

Thank you, the email I received only stated an interveiw.

Im an FTO at pacific, and its the same process to hires as bowers. You will only have an interview and then a tentative job offer. They dont do a written or physical test. Its all standard interview questions, Where do you see yourself in five years? Why do you want to be an EMT ect.

I stand corrected, back when I got hired there in 09 the process was as I stated.

They use to have a station at the Maywood INN. The Medic Vernon ALS car was out of there. It was ghetto

I work at Bowers LA. Welcome aboard, or almost. We have two LA stations, Long Beach and North Hollywood (down the street from the former Van Nuys station). We also have a Lancaster station and our sister company, Pacific Ambulance, has stations in OC and SD counties.

If you have specific questions, feel free to email me for privacy reasons.
Hiring is pretty straight forward, as mvillan6 said, no written, no skills, no physical just an interview.

Hope to see you around the station soon.
