I am taking the upcoming Boston EMS exam for the 2nd time. The first time that I took the exam I passed everything and made it to the interview. I am hoping that I can make it that far again this time.

I beleive I may have gotten a little hung up in the interview. I currently do not work on an ambulance but do work in a major Boston Hosptial.

Can anyone suggest any pointers to help not only myself but anyone else that is taking the exam.

There are tons of interview tips on the web.. i`ll take a look at some and try to post them if i`m allowed. How is the test for boston ems?? I`m moving back to mass in aprill/may just waiting on my state test

Be young, unattached, living in Boston, female, fluent in at least Spanish (Haitian Creole wouldn't hurt), and a paramedic. Have years of reprimand-free field experience and Mumbles' personal cell number. Don't worry, you won't be expected to walk on water until after you finish the academy.

It certainly doesn't hurt to be minority, a (disabled) veteran, bi-lingual and have connections within BPHC.

The testing is pretty straight forward. Written exam, practical exam (medical, trauma and lift carry) and interview.
