best time to apply for a paramedic job

I start a 32 week hybrid paramedic program in January. It will be over in mid August. I am also a student at a four year school (I wanted to drop out a long time ago but I have a full ride and it would break my mothers heart) and I won't graduate until next May. I don't plan on ever using my degree. I just want go know the best time for me to start applying for paramedic jobs. I will be done with my paramedic training a whole 9 months before I graduate. I plan on volunteering until I graduate so I won't be rusty. When would it be a good time for me to start applying for jobs? I am currently in North Carolina and plan on relocating to another state. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
