I've signed up to participate in a Basic Disaster Life Support class this Tuesday. I may not actually get into the class, because it was full when I signed up, so I'm on standby; I need to show up and hope some of those who signed up before me don't show up.

But anyway, I'm wondering if any of you have ever taken this class or a similar one, and what you thought of it and got out of it. What should I expect?

I haven't taken it, but the hospital that is now providing our medical direction is offering both BDLS and ADLS several times in the next few months.

I'd like to take them, but I really, really don't need the CEUs at this point.
