Bangs Ambulance, Ithaca NY

Does anyone have any experience with Bangs Ambulance? Was looking to possibly apply there part-time and wanted to know if anyone had any thought about the company/area?

Grew up in that area... regionally the protocols are nothing special and as far as I know, pay is acceptable. Bangs really seems to have their act together, people there are professional in appearance and interaction and the equipment is late model and well cared for. Never got the chance to work there before I moved, but from an educated outsider looking in, seemed like a pretty good ship.

Ive worked in this region for 3+ years, don't sugar coat it!! The protocols are awful. Period. And i agree with the rest of your post as well. Ive worked elsewhere near by and see what you describe as well. Was just looking for any possible input from someone who has worked there.

I used to fly in the area and didn't deal with Bangs a whole lot, but from what I did see, it seemed like a solid place. Several of my partners were from Bangs and had mostly good things to say about it. This is quite a while ago, though.

Protocols in CNY and WNY have always sucked.
