AZ. EMT's 1 Fatal 1 Critical from Intersection Collision with Semi Truck

)n Apr. 8, 2022 two Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Firefighter/EMTs were involved in intersction collision with a Semi Truck. They were Running Code, while pulling out from a side road onto a highway in the eastern part of Maricopa County, (Phoenix area). The violent collision tore away the Cab of the Rescue from the Chassis at the Driver's Compartment.

I cannot ascertain the exact time of the incident. I have extensive experience operating in rural areas and the only high probability factor that comes to mind is the possibility of a blinding sunlight that obstructed the view of oncoming traffic.

I used to think MA drivers were the most insanely reckless drivers...until I visited AZ a couple of times...absolutely no regard for life on interstate 10.
