Great place to work, but yes, medics only. Extremely competitive to get hired, and it can take years. Same goes for the paramedic schools. Had one of the best medical directors in the country until very recently. Got run off by politics, so there is currently some worry about the future. Highest cost of living in Texas. Horrible traffic. Beautiful landscape with awesome lakes. Lots of parties and hott women. Lots of art and entertainment. Moderate weather, but summers will fry a Michigan boy alive. I am not joking.
