ASHI WEMT?

Anyone familiar with the ASHI WEMT certification? My assumption is that it is not as widely accepted, or well thought of as the NOLS WMI, or Wilderness Medical Associates WEMT certs...but I'm not completely sure.

On a similar token, does anyone know if the ASHI Wilderness First Aid or ECSI Wilderness first aid certs are as well regarded/accepted as the WMI or WMA certs?

Not as widely accepted for what? Almost nobody requires a WEMT. I don't think there is much elitism over who provided a 1 week class.

ASHI, SOLO, WMI, WMA, CMC, DMM all got together (WMS too) to hash out some standards as I understand it...

I have taught for two of those organizations and work with instructors and providers from all of them. Good instructors matter, not the brand on the card.
