I was reading Base Hospital Symptom Relief page and I came across something that really confused me.
I was reading over indications for ASA and it said: acute myocardial infarction and unstable angina (which is unpredictable and not related to exertion) and when I read over the indications for Nitro it said: myocardial ischemia and pulmonary edema.
I thought that you could use ASA for any type of angina (not just stable or unstable). I may just be looking too far into this, but I just wanted to make sure. So now all I want to know is when to give Nitro, ASA or Both
Another question I had was why does systolic BP have to be >140 when for angina it only has to be >100?
Thanks! ^_^
