I completed my EMT-P class last month, and I'm doing my clinicals in a new city I just moved to. I want to apply for an EMT-B job while doing my clinicals; however, I don't know the area at all - should I apply now, and learn the area later, or learn the area before applying?

Thanks

Agreed with Linuss. I just moved to Colorado and don't know the Denver metro area very well. But I applied and have been exploring. I figure I'll learn it better while I'm working :)

Agree!

I agree, I just moved to a new state, and the EMS is VERY different than what I am used to, It's hard to learn the area but with networking and my GPS- I can go anywhere! So Apply Apply Apply!
