Anyone use Paramedic Practice Today - 2-Volume Set ?

I was looking at Paramedic books and this came up.

Have not ever seen them so was wondering if any of you have? Do you prefer them to the Brady Bledsoe book or the AAOS Nancy Caroline?

Just checking as I might want to add them for my Paramedic students to reference.

I don't have a lot of knowledge on it, but I know the instructors at the CNM program I was part of looked them over and decided to continue using the Mosby's Medic book.

Was it bad if since chose the other Mosby book over this Mosby book? Or was it just easier not to have to make new tests and teaching items?

If it's the one I'm thinking of, I prefer those books over Mosby's for sure.

Must more in-depth and had a better big picture view of how to treat a patient. For example, for asthma, it goes through progression of why you'd use different medications. Whereas two others I looked at simply said the classes of meds used for asthma and leaves you floating on what you'd actually do.

The "Red book" as I call it actually fills in the details and makes you feel like you have some kind of deeper knowledge about what you're doing..
