i live in tahlequah and i was wondering if emt employment around here is good.

im from a city in oklahoma named coalgate located in southern oklahoma. and in this area, there is always room for more medics. but if you want the big bucks, check into working as a medic for the chickasaws or choctaws. they pay well.
i work for the city i live in. don't make alot of loot but i am happy and that is what matters to me.

There are 2 services in Tahlequah. Cherokee Nation which has an outstanding history and cutting edge EMS. IT is with the IHS services. The other is City/Hospital Tahlequah.
I don't what "big bucks" means with IHS as Chickasaw and most NAIEMS is usually moderate to low pay; but the benefits are decent to off set the pay.
