Any EMS jobs in Santa Monica, CA?

I just got my EMT-B in march I live in Texas but have been trying to get things together to move to California for a couple of years now if everything goes ok then I should be able to move very soon I have already looked in to getting my certification in CA but I am having trouble finding a job and the few jobs that I have found on internet search sites wont show how to apply so other then waiting till I get down there is there any way I can get ahold of potential employers? I would very much like to work on a ambulance instead of in a
ER. Thank you any help would be appreciated.

There are over 50+ ambulance companies in Los Angeles County, many of them operate in the city of Santa Monica. The BLS 911 ambulance provider for Santa Monica is Americare Ambulance. Here is their website.....

Also, a word of advice, try to apply to only county licensed companies, unless you want to walk the fine line of medicare/medi-caid/dialysis fraud from the unlicensed ones. Cough *Medlife* cough......

Are you set on Santa Monica? Speaking from first hand experience, it is almost impossible to live in that area comfortably on an EMT salary without working 6 days a week in which case you won't even be able to enjoy that area.

If you want to live in CA, but aren't tied down to Southern California (a black hole of EMS to begin with ) I know that Hall Ambulance, 2 hours north, is currently hiring EMTs.
