Palestinian stabs 4 in Modi'in Illit

A Palestinian laborer stabbed and wounded four Israelis Monday in the West Bank settlement of Modi'in Illit before he was shot and wounded by a volunteer medic, police and rescue officials said.
The morning attack in the haredi community, located just over the Green Line adjacent to Modi'in, left one victim seriously wounded, and three others lightly hurt.



The Palestinian assailant, who had worked in the settlement for over a decade, was shot and seriously wounded by Kobi Rosenstein, a settlement security official who volunteers with Magen David Adom, the rescue service said.


MDA said the medic's bravery prevented additional casualties.

You never know what you will arrive at, do you? I know Israel isn't the same as the US, especially with their current escalating conflict in Gaza... but this is still an interesting event.

I think that this post gives one perspective/aspect of one of the most complicated relationships/conflicts in recent history.

Both MDA and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society are propaganda machines for their respective sides.

This conflict will persist, and it is my belief that neither side is a "good guy" in this situation. It's really a sad glimpse of the state of our world, but another day in Israel.

I am not going to get into my own politics or the intensely complicated political situation in the middle east, but that statement is not very true.
The propaganda you may be reading is mainly a function of diaspora media, particular American Jewish media outlets.
The true reality on the ground is far from the images protrayed on CNN or much of the western media.
