Hey family!

Any suggestions on great A & P textbooks? I am looking to edumacate myself a lot more in depth..

Thank you!

How in depth are you looking? Marieb's Human Anatomy and Physiology would likely suffice your needs. If you want something with more depth than you'll ever need, Guyton's Medical Physiology is my go-to.

Another vote for Marieb! That's what I used in college for A&P, very well done book.

Thank you! I am going to look around. In depth wise, I have all summer to review my emt book and wanted something to supplement my studying for medic school in September, just looking for something that allows me to go a lot deeper.

Thank you again!

When I studied it I had we go dig up our own cadaver.

I liked Tortora's approach, but that was a long time ago.

Marieb is a decent middle of the road textbook, I think its even used for some ADN programs. Its not super detailed or in depth which is probably a good thing if you are a beginner and don't have a real strong biology, chemistry or physics background, but its also not dumbed down to the degree an EMT textbook is.
