It was kind of a blow off unless you haven't been working in a while. Good luck.

i thought it was similar to the nr, but i took the basic test.

I took the basic one, but looked over the medic one as well.

If you have the NR, there is no reason why you shouldn't pass AMR's.

I have my NR. but written test are my struggle. thanks.

I felt like a genius after taking the basic version after being out of class and not thinking EMS for 3 months. You'll be fine. Look at it this way, you're already a medic!

yeah thats very true isnt it. just jumping through hoops.

Hi, i'm new here and just wondering what kind of questions should we be expecting on the AMR written and maybe what kinds of things should we focus on?

The written for AMR paramedics has a 50 question general knowledge test similar to the NREMT-P, an EKG recognition test, and a drug calculation test.

Well I took that test that I posted on a few ago. it ended up being 150; 50 being personality based the other hundred on medical. I must say you have to slow your role and make sure you provide good BLS before you start jumping into ALS. Nothing new there though. Interview tomorrow!
