Hello everyone. I am a new EMT and I was wondering which of these two EMT organizations would be better to work for? Currently I am employed by CARE and I wanted to see if working for AMR would be better? Thank you for your time.

Need that question even be asked? AMR hands down. Don't discount R/M though. Despite the recent bankruptcy fillings, they're still a good company to work for.

Like CodeBru said, AMR hands down. AMR holds the 911 contract for Chula Vista and parts of East County. I'm not sure how much 911 action you will see as BLS, but we can assumer you will see more action than Care.

Not sure what type of calls/contracts Care goes on, though.

Care and the Care Bears have Kaiser Zion as one of their primary contracts, that much I know. I'm not sure the other contracts they have, but I can ask my partner tonight as he is a former Care Bear.
