So all of the other topics seemed to be too old for me to reply to so I thought I'd start a new thread. I was invited this morning to do a practical/interview with AMR in Natick, MA. I'm an EMT-B with no experience (this would be my first job) and I haven't really done any practical skills tests since June. So I'm kind of nervous and don't really know what to expect from the practical part. Anyone have any advice? All of the answers I found were from 2008 or 2010 and I'm assuming things have changed since then. Thanks so much!

My thread is still active as of a few days ago beating the topic to death! But thats okay! Okay first things first, just because you don't have prior exp. as an EMT does not mean you're not qualified. The skills practical for me was a full trauma assessment. My advice would be to go back to your class notes or open your book and follow each step from top to bottom starting with BSI/PENMAN all the way through. The interview shouldn't be to bad, just basic questions. If you have any questions feel free to send me a PM. Good luck!
