Amio via filter needle or set?

I have come across some new documentation regarding administration of Amio that contradicts some feild setting situations. my main question is regarding whether or not you use a filter needle or drip set when administering Amio in the field. i have seen this utilized more in ICU settings similar to Dilantin but have seen sporadic pre hospital use.

I've always been told it depends on the concentration as well as the length of infusion. A 10 minute loading dose *probably* isn't going to crystallize.

We don't carry filters for IV lines and don't require it to be administered with a filter needle.
