Read the whole handbook front and back. The test was actually hard because they pick any sentence from the handbook and test you on it. In California, not sure about other states, the ambulance drivers test has three different versions. I missed one too many and failed my first try. I studied the ones I missed and took the test the same day. Version 2 was almost identical to version 1. If you somehow fail the test three times then you have to pay again.
It's basically common sense on the test.
