when i passed the NREMT and got my certificates and stuff from them and the state...i framed my certificates. am i flaky for this? i'm rather proud of my accomplishment though i still think it wasnt that hard to do to begin with.

No you are not flakey. I have my EMT lisences frame with the corresponding patches. It is ok to be proud of sacrificing time for training to care for other.

Yeah, framing the stuff is all good.

At the very least, it sure beats the pants off of some generic print from IKEA.

I've got a framed cert for "Perfect Attendence" at the EMT class (6 of us out of 24).

My original "wall sized" EMT cert is in my cert book somewhere.. and I've got no clue where my current one is .

I've got some autographed "Emergency" memorbilia that I've got to get framed/laminated...

Also on the wall is my "President's Community Service award" signed by the "W" himself... well, at least a nice image of a signature . I had to volunteer a whole 100 hours betwwen 2001 and 2003 to get that....
Ummm... yeah. I sort of LIVED at the firehouse in Junior/Senior years of High School.
