All equipment on every job?

...and a topographic map?

We set up a litter that way as a response platform and found ourselves with a litter full of stuff on the ground, the pt on the litter, and no manpower. I trimmed back the equipment and tried it on a wheelchair, then in a large duffel bag on a folding luggage carrier with a milk crate fastened on with zip ties which one person could lug behind as we rolled the pt out.

My head-on with that issue was responding and finding the 220 lb biker pt was in the hayloft of a decrepit barn with spinal injury and the only access was the twenty-four inch wide wooden ladder nailed to an interior stanchion and extending up through a hatch. Good thing his drunk buddies could follow instructions once we packaged him for extraction.
