A second car bomb has been discovered. One alert ambulance crew had prevented hundred of Londoners from being hurt or killed.

I heard about this on the news. I can't tell you how many times I've heard/seen EMTs and Paramedics notify dispatch for things that otherwise would have gone unnoticed. From missing persons to MVCs happening at night in the middle of nowhere, it's amazing how an extra set of eyes helps.

When I worked in EMS, the units were stationed around the city at different street corners and business parking lots. We didn't have stations, so ambulances would have to spend the day/night camped out on a street corner. I assure you, NOTHING happens in that area without the unit noticing.

How about those secondary devices folks, we all need to keep our eyes open and watch our backs.
