Alabama Ambulance/Flight Medic Info

Greetings EMS brothers and sisters!

I am new to the forum and thought I might seek some guidance from those who might be able to help. I'm a Flight Paramedic in Colorado and will be moving to Birmingham Alabama this summer and will be in need of a job. I have begun research of companies there already. If anyone has any information on the reputations, operations, contracts etc... of any Ambulance or Flight Program there it would be greatly appreciated! I'm going out there fairly blind with no reference points! Thanks a bunch and everyone stay safe out there!

From what I heard from a buddy who moved up from Mobile AL, and is now also a flight paramedic, the choices are slim and poor. Doesn't sound like a lot of quality programs down there. He said University's program is decent, but the rest are fly by night, single engine, programs. Don't know what you're coming from though.
