Hey look at that, it works :p
I have never tested for Air Methods so I can't speak to that, other than they have some pretty high standards. But Air Methods in NM is in some ways different from teh bases that were Air Methods from the beginning. A lot of the bases here in NM started out as Southwest Medevac, then Omniflight, and then Native Air. A lot of the crews have been together through all of that. The turn over is low, and most of the hiring I've seen has been for new bases in the state, which I take to be a good sign. Unsure of pay, other than it's on par with other flight services in the state (higher than most 911 ground). Morale from the crews I've talked to tend to be rather high.
I'm driving through two town with Air Methods bases and will stop and ask questions a week from Monday on my way home. I'm actually curious too lol, since I wouldn't mind working for them.
