ACLS expiry and Alberta College of Paramedics

Just a quick question for the members here.

The listed expiry on my card is two years but ACoP have confirmed that it is good for four years.

So the question is when do I actually have to re do it? And if I let it go to four years am I liable as I have knowingly let it lapse?

Just wondering what everyone else is doing.

I would assume you have two years. Better to err on the side of caution I think.

Yeah thats what I am doing but just can't wrap my head around the difference in expiry dates for the CHSF and ACoP.

ACoP wants ACLS every four years but CPR every 2, just can't make sens eof it.
