I'm thinking about going to American Medical Academy for their emt-b program. They're licensed by the Department of Health, Commission for Independent Education and the Bureau of EMS and currently seeking accreditation with ABHES....is this good enough? I eventually want to do a bridge RN program...

Never head or seen a EMT to RN bridge program since the EMT course is just little more than a first aid course. Far as accreditation, Basic level courses are not avaiable for the National Level for acreditation as it is reserved for advanced and Paramedic levels such agencies as CoEMSP, etc...
There are several hundred Paramedic to RN programs through out the country and have had such for many decades, as I graduated from one over 20 years ago then returned for upper level degrees in nursing.
So to answer your question, no a Basic Level course is not ging to help you.
