Hey,
I looked at the older threads, and I'm just wondering if anyone has any recent information on them in Baton Rouge?
Shifts?
Aprox Paramedic Pay?
CE training?
Rigs?

im in the process of hiring on with them.

rigs, a mix of oldish, and very new(the older stuff gets rotated to the schools).

pay is good for the area.

br is ift, and overflow 911(which is alot as br is in the top 10 dangerous cities with lots of gang violence)

12hr shifts.

$7k sign on for medic in baton rouge.

not sure about ce, but they have an emt and medic school.

as far as a new emt its been a 2.5 week process to get hired on so far. plus 5 days of paid training/orientation.

Shifts are mostly a 2-2-3 12hr. A few power trucks and daytime also.

I'm not sure on that areas pay. It is based on time in level though.

CE is provided and you get enough hours to recert every 2 years.

Trucks should all be '08 and newer. There might be a couple older trucks as spares but I doubt it. Expect a mix of Sprinters and Chevy type 1s.
 
Small world. Your name sounded familiar, I though maybe from CDA. Maybe we worked for the same Company at some point lol. Yeah dove a 37 too.
