my ultimate goal would be to do be part of a SAR team for a FD. as a medic. i wanna be a medic for a FD before that though.

thats true but my company hired me as a driver aswell so i rarely get any patient contacts unless im paired with a driver which is willing to drive to. and the companies that do 911 around here pay less than the IFT companies. im thinking if i join a 911 company i wont be a driver right away and...

Has anyone ever had problems getting insured by your ambulance companies insurance for being to young? I'm 18 turning 19 in September and I've had my CDL for about a year now I have no point on my driving records and the only ticket I've ever had was a street sweeper parking ticket haha.

How long does that usually take to process? I did my live scan for them today and went into the ems agency office in Santa Fe Springs. They told me that they couldn't certify me that same day because my live scan still hadn't gone through since i did it the same day.
