I totally agree with you! Don't get me wrong! I just got my hopes up after all the schooling and passing the National Registry. But I do think it's a good idea. Plus Riggs is an excellent place to work.
I applied to Riggs. Apparently, they don't really hire EMTs outright. They hire you as a Service System Technician first, then promote you to EMT... It's not necessarily what I wanted to do, but if it means working for a good company in the long run, then I guess it's worth it
