That's what I have been seeing as my future, as an emt-b, not many would hire me as an attendant. So out of state is my most likely alternative, but I will call the dmv in the A.M.

I understand that you only need an intrastate medical card for ambulance. Am i still eligible to get one while on Anti-seizure medications, or do i need to move to a state...

Maybe a bit off topic, but does anyone know if Hall will hire an attendant only EMT-B. Who is unable to obtain a medical card for dmv due to medication.
Not sure if this is still need but i am in the same boat. I just returned from my failed DOT Physical, DOT now requires you to be seizure free AND off medication for 10 years.
Sorry, I didn't see the second post. I understand what you are saying and thank you for letting me know what you have seen. If I put in my app with them then I will try to see what I can when I go in there. No matter what size of a company they all wanna make a profit but there is a limit.
So Tom(owner of alpha) is one of those rink a dink companies that think they are good just because they have an ambulance... there were a few more companies that were holes in the walls that were killed out because they weren't worth a dam
Very true. I am currently working at an office and im trying to find the first ambulance company that will hire me (because of my age). If i don't have one by summer i am going back south, so im not sure if the first step with them is a step in the right direction.
I know they are some what of a new company, The owner is the same founder as First responder. I don't expect a high pay being i have no history in ems and i cant work for a bigger more established company yet. My main concerns revolve around how they treat their employees, and are they flaky. My...
