I just took mucinex because I came down with strep throat. I hardly think it was the medicine that calmed me down. Just the actual thought of taking something that "might" calm your nerves. Just a mental barrier I suppose, but hell I wasn't nervous when I took my test lol
You've been doing better than me on those tests. My highest score was an 85% just on the practice tests. For the final I got a 72%. But yeah JB was defiantly hard for me, I actually started memorizing the answers lol. The nremt shut me off around 70. A lot of the questions I got were scenario...
I just passed my basic today, and I used JB. The questions
Seemed very similar to the nremt. But that's just basic, but I've heard of medics using it as well
So relieved!!!! After 4 months since taking my Emt class and a lot of studying I've done it!!! So much stress lifted off of me right now! You know what? I have to give a lot of credit to JB learning, it helped me tremendously!!
Anyone have personal experiences with any of these websites, I need to find a different study tool. I've heard good things about some of these, but if you could share YOUR experience with any of these websites it would be much appreciated. I'm testing the 25th for my basic! (again)
Ok so I've already taken the nremt once and didn't pass, and im scheduled to take it again on the 25th. My question is since Illinois doesn't recognize the nremt cert, can I take the illinois certification test? Some people in my emt class said if you take the nremt you can't take the state...
I have been looking through my aaos Emergency care and transportation of the sick and injured book to study, and I've been using the online access code that came with it to get some extra practice. All the tests don't compare to the NREMT. I pass all the chapter pretests and I took the registry...
I don't disagree, I just think they shouldn't include it on the nremt. Like I said, you'd be more apt to learn it while actually in the field. But then again so wouldn't everything else lol. I mean asking questions about helicopters, establishing landing zones, what types of ambulances there are...

I took the free registry review on emtb.com after I learned I didn't pass the nremt. I missed 9 and got an 88% on the review test. These practice
Are either misleading, or my nerves just take over when it actually counts!
See I think that was my problem, I went in without going over patient assessment. So I'm going to focus a lot this time around on the assessment steps. But I can't seem to remember ems operations to well. I really believe it shouldn't be on the test. I mean you learn 3/4 of the stuff actually...
That was my intent, so more people:rolleyes: would share their experiences. The what's next questions threw me off because I focused strictly on the beginning of a particular treatment. So I froze like any human being would do. So hopefully this last test helps me greatly improve my study...
