The way I figure, it can't hurt to have the NREMT. One thing I've learned is that you never know...
I'm glad you brought it up, I should look into it myself.
Oh don't panic for small envelope... that's what the "certificate" comes in. It's basically a scrap of paper. Bureau of EMS doesn't waste the taxpayers money frivolously. ;)
Our instructor got the results a week or so before the actual certificate came in the mail, so yours will probably let...
We just got our results from the May 17 test this past week... so you'll have a while to wait, me thinks. :P
The scores are printed in the back of your certificate, so you'll see how you did in different areas and what the average scores were.
Just went through this last fall... She was with me for 15 years, pretty much 24 hours a day. I thought of burying her in the yard, but it was so hard to let her go I didn't want to bawl every time I saw the grave.
Sorry. It just sucks. :(
I asked about onsite, they pretty much laughed at me and told me I would've had to sign up for it four months before starting class around here to get a seat :(
Most colleges offer many gen ed classes online. I would look into your local college first, if you are planning on doing science and your RN program there. That way you can be sure your credits will transfer and tuition will probably be cheaper than private colleges.
