medcoast ambulance i believe is hiring part time. They are based in santa fe springs. The only thing is your gonna have to take 1 to 2 weeks off for training though.

I did my ride along with them last year. They do 911 calls. I"m not exactly sure about their shifts. The crew I was working with happened to be on a 48 shift which they told me were on the weekends only. I also know that the guys i was working with had 24 shifts during the weekdays also.

I have a friend that works at elite. He seems to like it there and they are definitely expanding which is a good sign.

I would say its not a horrible place to work for. I've talked to alot of other EMTs here they all have different feelings about the company. Some don't like management and complain and there are some people who don't care as long as they get paid on time. So far I haven't had any complaints...

I started working there about 4 weeks ago its not so bad its probably the fact that i'm happy that I have a job right now.

Had a interview with them on tuesday and they basically hired me that day after I did a physical. Just need to get all the paperwork done so I can start. -_-
