Hey, if you're asking me, then at college i applyed for, they include basic into EMT-I with option to withdraw halfway through and get EMT-B cert. If you got EMT-b, then you can go for Paramedic, but they do strongly advise to go throught the whole EMTbasic-I thing.

EMT-I, and just to make sure, i double checked:4 quarters. They do include basic at the begining.

I don't think its frequent or serious enought to sea a doctor. I have been diagnozed with crooked septum, and do think its the main cause, because it usually bleed from the right nosetril. Anyway, did anybody try nosespray or vaseline, which effect lasts longer?:)

Paramedic? Now thats a lot of computer time.:P Other than that, as long as they still have hands on part in good facility with good equipment and understanding instructors, why not?

^_^Well, as far as i understand, they do require 1 week of hands on training(don't know how many hours a day). And althought i do think it might not be enought, if they say it is, then it probably is. Online part is theoretical and i don't see a difference between class lecture and online...

Those taught in the DOT EMT-Basic course updated in 1994. However, although this level is certified in Georgia and taught in the technical colleges, this level is not certified to work on a transport ambulance at the current time. :)They're not allowed to drive ambulance, is that what it means?

Sounds good. If it's an only one college, where they got EMT-B online, i'll go with it. I believe tentative class dates are for the online course and clinical dont start untill june. So all i gotta do is go get my CPR plus athletic club membership and im on my way to my dream job. Wish me lots...
