Out of curiosity do they hire PT or is it strictly FT? How about the surrounding EMS county departments?

I'd have to agree, it's an extremely physically demanding job. Ask the people that have been doing it 20 + years, then honestly ask yourself if your body can handle that abuse for 20-25 years.

Make sure you get a lot of fire stickers, a CA backdraft license plate, and a catchy license plate frame. I'm thinking "call 911 it's my day off" All kidding aside nice truck

Exactly. Yes, they do 911 transport. However, working there and then a couple years at McCormick I realized what a well run private 911 company looks like compared to a poor one.

Would not recommend. Poor pay, poor conditions at stations, poor quality of equipment / rigs, horrible schedule.

Would've been real boss of that precordial thump worked.
