Not sure if there is anything like that in the contract. The best thing that can happen is that we will never be stationed there again. It felt like we being judged constantly.

    2020. What are your goals?

I can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel for my EMS career. I enjoy being challenged with new things. The Dino side tries to resist change, but I will keep trying to improve. As for my non working goal. I want to become a better horseman. I developed a love for the horse not...

I can try to answer your questions. I have spent most of my career working the suburbs of Minneapolis. The companies I work for also cover rural areas.

    Sending someone home sick

Nothing in writing. I had a partner come in sick. Looked like hell. I told her to go home, because I was not working with her in her condition.

    It hit home

You often hear people talk about accidents being too close to home. This one hit home. The nurse was my first wife, mother to my children. https://minnesota.cbslocal.com/video/4114425-2-killed-after-medical-helicopter-crashes-in-northern-minnesota/...

Is your heart set on southern Minnesota? Are you paramedic? Almost everyone in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area is looking for paramedics. I work for a service that is suburban and rural. We start new medics at 23.00 and will pay for years of experience.

    Dallas Area Paramedic Pay

That's pretty sad pay scales. Heard Texas has a low cost of living, but you need that with those wages. Just got back from my annual trip to the north Texas hill country. I love the area, but I would not do well with the heat and humidity. Cold and wind chill are easier to deal with.

    Mind over matter

I've already decided if I get diagnosed with it, I will not try to battle it. But enjoy what time I have left. Everyone that I know that has tried treatment got very ill from the treatment and then died.

    Shoulder straps

My guess would be someone did not want to not use the shoulder straps. The X straps more or less force you to use them to secure the upper body.
