Can I live off of 29,000 a year

Lol, yeah, I don't eat it all. I split it with my SO, yeah the insurance is crappy. Its so high because its a group rate. And I work with like 10k fat old bimbo's that get gastric bypass every other year and heart surgeries every 3. I'm thinking I would be better off just getting my own...

Can I live off of 29,000 a year

.....$2500 after taxes? Dam. I make $41,000/year and only take home $2,360/month after taxes. Either way, 29k is way to low for a single man to live on. Impossible to live in for a family.

Federally Mandated Minimum Wage for EMTs and Paramedics Petition

I don't really have a problem with the pay. Its more than most jobs. And the job isn't really as physically hard as some minimum wage jobs I've had. $13/hour is what I get paid as an emt-b. And amr is starting paramedics at 40k/year fresh out of paramedic school. And for okc. That's above...

    Medic vs RN

I've read of some requirements for job postings. And all the flight nurse positions require nursing experience. So if that's your goal, I would pursue the nursing route 100% You know what they say, be good. Or be good at it.

    Female emt's in the military?

I was reading online the other day that the boys at USMC were angry because they were taking the word "man" out of all the mos titles. Instead of it being infantryman. It would just be infantry marine and so on and so fourth

    Female emt's in the military?

I'm not 100% sure. But I was under the impression that the marines had zero medical staff. They just used the navy. To be honest. I would just join. And worry about school later, when I had g.I bill and experience in that field. You don't need to be certified to do that job in the military...

    Female emt's in the military?

Ive been discharged for about 3 years now. And I have friends that have been in as 68w. Never been deployed in 6 years. And that's what mainly staffed the ER on base. They took vitals and history and all that good stuff. If you have any questions you want to know, pm me. And I'll ask one of...

    Female emt's in the military?

It's not that bad, anything you do in life, that's worth doing. Is going to change you. Plus, the war is mostly over now. So the chances of you seeing anything bad are low. You'll just be doing vitals most of the time at the base ER. Or on standby for trainings and events on base.
