    Duty to act, abandonment, etc.

    I would be transporting two patients and taking one of the guys from the engine to ride with me. I have worked on days like this where literally anything and everything goes. we have had engines transport patients to the hospitals.

    our area does both things that Desert Said, staff tells us when we bring the next patient in and we have what are called Prehospital Coordinators (same has the PLN most likely) which we do call followup and case review. works well

    like AK said this is not a black and white answer for it. as soon as you have two parents disagreeing on treatment I would recommend PD assist (Personal Experience those scenes can become very tricky to handle), also with this being an overdose PD isnt a bad option to have with you anyways...

    For testing you need to verbalize C-spine precautions, this is a critical fail, so if you do not do it and you open the airway with head tilt you are a NO GO. That is why c spine precautions, if everyone remembers when they test and for us who proctor test it is said before you touch the patient
