    CCPP-C/TP-C Review material Suggestions

Point 3 is your opinion, but not factual. Certifications ARE most definitely education. When pursuing certs, you gain knowledge, hence education. I have 3 nursing certs and I gained a lot of education in studying for them. I learnt so much more when I did them, which improved my nursing. And as...

Paramedic Practitioner? Masters degree and future of EMS

IS this humor or satire? What you wrote makes no sense. ND route? Pollinators practitioner? LOL! You teach RN, PA, etc.?

    Accepted to RN bridge!

I won't say nit-picking, but you have to change the way you think/approach questions. You might read a question and one of the four answers is the definitive answer in the mind of a medic. But you have to think like a nurse instead. I'm sure you've heard by now the acronym ADPIE- Assess...

    Paramedic to RN in CA

So much to disagree with here. Not medical care professionals? Oh, contrare, mon frere! You speak out of your anus. First, Comfort Care refers to a patient on our floor who is hospice with a DNR. They're on a morphine PCA drip with Ativan Q20M until they stop breathing. Yeah- euthanasia...

    Accepted to RN bridge!

Pardon the late reply, but stand your ground. I had my didactic and clinical instructors telling me ad nauseum that I was a nursing student and couldn't do what a medic does. I reminded them I know how to stay in my lane and knew I was a student. One clinical instructor wouldn't let it go and...

WHATS THE PATH TO AIR MEDIC

Yes. 2 year training pipeline which is 4 times longer than BUD/S for SEAL wannabes. However, majority of attrition in PJ training is failing NRP, which if you were to go that route, you'd have a definite leg up if you were already a PM.

    PARAMEDIC REFRESHER COURSES NORTHEAST FLORIDA

Ladies and gents, After doing a Google search, I can only find a course at EMLRC in Orlando. It's about a 2 hr drive each way, so if I find nothing closer, I'll have to stay at a motel for a few days. I don't want an online course, I want classroom and hands-on. Any ideas?

Is a Portable Ultrasound the future for EMS

With the caveat that I'm not currently a field medic, I'd have to say, in concurrence with other comments posted, can't really see the efficacy of prehospital US. It takes a lot of repetition, even in a hospital, viewing sonograms to be able to accurately interpret them. And what would be the...

Is a Portable Ultrasound the future for EMS

Perhaps he is demonstrating his professional credibility by posting his name and resume. You "astronomically stupid" comment is "astronomically wrong". Or are you just jealous?

Why EMS degree could be the standard come 2025

It is needed. FD notwithstanding, EMS is a critical part of the medical arena and needs to be on par with everyone else. I think an Associate Degree would be commensurate for paramedics' knowledge level.

That doesn't mean anything except perhaps you overthink the questions. What was the test result?

    MAP Question

I didn't find TCRN all that difficult either. However, you can always find people with credentials that you feel aren't as good as you (and yes, I do too!) On a different note, I noticed you're a PHRN. Wish my state had that.
