Central Illinois is tough: mostly volly rural deparment's or career which have age restrictions (mid 30's is the limit) (i.e. Peoria, East Peoria, Pekin, N. Tazewell, etc) Try looking for private EMS companies, AMT, some of the Springfield or Lincoln ones (some are hospital based too)

Tylenol was added a few months ago to our BLS bag (state-wide)..for minor to moderate pain mgmt. Anyone else think its a bit peculiar?

Just finished a 16 hour Laerdal SimMan training session. My school just bought a few & variations. The thing's pretty darn cool, heck of a lot of features. It'll will be interesting to see how it will be integrated into prehosptial education Is anyone else's...

I Worked in Peoria, IL...placed a few Combitubes in my day as a basic (07-09). Recent change or something?
