That's what I have been seeing as my future, as an emt-b, not many would hire me as an attendant. So out of state is my most likely alternative, but I will call the dmv in the A.M.
Hello everyone, I know this has been covered somewhat in the past, but no updates from after DOT standards have changed.
I understand that you only need an intrastate medical card for ambulance. Am i still eligible to get one while on Anti-seizure medications, or do i need to move to a state...
Sorry for bringing this thread up again. If you haven't already, download figure-1 from the android app store. Filled with medical pics and you will see many things on there that you would see in the feild
Maybe a bit off topic, but does anyone know if Hall will hire an attendant only EMT-B. Who is unable to obtain a medical card for dmv due to medication.
Not sure if this is still need but i am in the same boat. I just returned from my failed DOT Physical, DOT now requires you to be seizure free AND off medication for 10 years.
Sorry, I didn't see the second post. I understand what you are saying and thank you for letting me know what you have seen. If I put in my app with them then I will try to see what I can when I go in there. No matter what size of a company they all wanna make a profit but there is a limit.
So Tom(owner of alpha) is one of those rink a dink companies that think they are good just because they have an ambulance... there were a few more companies that were holes in the walls that were killed out because they weren't worth a dam
