Answer is..... Service must have bbp/ppe available to use if needed. If the EMT sees that full body ppe is required, then put it on. Dude did say. When or if an OSHA inspection happens, full body ems turn out gear better be in ambulance. So no, EMTs do not have to wear bbp/ppe coat and pants...

We have one EMT that thinks there is,and ohsa could fine the member, service. Director. He quotes fed fireman stuff.

Is there a fed statute that requires EMT s to wear bbp resistant turn out coat and pants on every call? Even non accident calls?

amber lights; Most of the time they are run in conjunction with red/blue emergency lights. I can't think of a time where I'd only have yellow lights on. Flood lights: at accident scene you would use these to illuminate your work area next to the ambulance. Ours dont really reach that far, but...

we are very close to an Iowa Paramedic. if we ever get D-50 and trained to read the 12 lead. that'd be right up there. (the lower level of IA paramedic)

they shouldn't complain too much at $40,000 installed. our new ambulance last year was $92,000. the one I posted was 12 grand installed.

I juice the kale and cellery first, and then apples, oranges and whatnot. this pushes the green stuff out of nooks and crannys. makes it easy to clean too.. I also put a plastic grocery bag in the big hopper to catch the crap. MUCH easier to clean. takes me just over a min to clean the machine...
